Terms of Sale

The simple rules that apply when you buy Berufung.

By completing a purchase on thequietcareer.com you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable. If anything is unclear, write to us at book@thequietcareer.com before you buy.

1. What you are buying

A digital licence to read Berufung — The Swiss Method for Finding the Work You Were Born to Do by Sebastian Reinhardt, delivered as a PDF, an EPUB, a Kindle-compatible AZW3 file, and four printable worksheets. You may download the files for your personal use as often as you like.

2. Licence

The licence is personal and non-transferable. You may read the book on any device you own, and print the worksheets for your own use. You may not upload the files to public file-sharing services, resell them, or redistribute them — paid or free — in whole or in part.

3. Price & payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Your order is complete the moment Stripe confirms the charge.

4. Refunds

If the book isn't for you, write to us at book@thequietcareer.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. To keep the refund available, please don't download the files or send them to Kindle until you're sure — under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)), the right of withdrawal for digital content ends once delivery has begun, and you confirm consent to that at checkout. We may ask for the email address you used at checkout to find your order.

If you've already downloaded and aren't happy, write anyway — we'll consider it case by case. Every download and Kindle send is timestamped on our side; we use those records, not the file on your device, to make the call. There is no need to delete the files.

5. Delivery

Files are delivered immediately after payment, through a signed download link in your receipt email and a permanent download page at /account. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us — we'll re-send.

6. Availability

We try to keep the site available continuously, but we offer no warranty of uptime. If the site is unreachable when you want to download a file you have already paid for, write to us and we will send the files to you directly.

7. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to compromise the site, scrape it at unreasonable rates, or abuse our support address. We reserve the right to refuse service and cancel access to anyone who does. In practice this affects no one acting in good faith.

8. Referrals

Each customer is issued a unique referral code that gives the friend a discount and earns the customer a small credit per qualifying sale. The economics are subject to change with notice on this page. Self-referrals and obvious abuse are excluded from credit.

9. Changes

We may revise these terms occasionally to reflect changes in the product or the law. We will not retroactively change the refund policy that applied to a purchase already made. The current version is always at this URL with the "last updated" date below.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Zürich, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
